Iris cysts and cataracts?

I was wondering if anyone elses horse had ever been diagnosed with iris cysts as my horse apparantly had one on each eye, he also thought he had a cataract on one eye, which does have like blue in colour along the outside of the eye. The vet sounded as though it was nothing to worry about anyone else had anything like this?

Mine has something similar in his left eye - just at the front of the iris - it's a spherical brown shape. Vets said it was fine, but if it gets larger, to call them. Hasn't changed, or affected him in any way, since I noticed it 3 years ago.
