Hi everyone, I've just joined and am the proud owner of a new 6 year old coloured cob. He is passported with the Irish Cob Society and I've been trying to contact them as I want to change the passport into my name. However the e mail I sent them just bounced back and noone ever answers the phone. Does anyone know if they still exist or best way to get hold of them or what to do if I can't get in contact ? Many thanks.

Hey Rusty. Welcome to the club - I am also proud momma to a 4 year old piebald cob. I just had a google and there was a previous H&H post in 2013 about the Irish Cob Society closing down and how do people register new foals. Someone suggested contacting the Horse Passport Agency - may be worth a shot. My mare is passported with the HPA and everything was straight forward when I contacted them to change ownership.

All sorted, Horse Sport Ireland have taken over the passports and thankfully it is just a very simple matter of sending them the passport with a completed change of ownership form
