i havent, it has been in the hands of the police since the day he went i have a crime number as well if you need it ? the police have made arrests but are still trying to locate more , i had believed the police would get him back as we know who has stolen him but it seems like they were to slow to respond hence he has been sold i expect to an innocent person but i would like to know where he is and that he is ok!!

you need to put him on the stolen horse register contact them with details and crime ref and photos, inform horsewatch, the police are a waste of time where horses are concernd and i feel sorry you have trusted them to locate your horse but in this world its us owners who have to look out for the stolen horses then beg the police to get it off the theifs i know i was involved in the lilly case . put him on mersey horse as a trace ,and email every horse shop and livery yard in the area you think he is a poster stateing he is stolen ,have you got your original passport and recepit ,if you do find him the new owners may have new pass and chip as with lilly but we did get her back for the owner( who may i say hasnt even said thanks )as a last resort in the lilly case if the police didnt get her back we were going to steal her back off them

I think you did a brilliant job and I cant blame you not wanting to get involved again, but NOT everyone is like lilly's owner. I would of said thankyou and also given you a reward of some kind. She should of payed the vet bill.
