I was wondering if anyone can recommend any Irish Sport Horse dealers or breeders/studs?
I don't want to buy privately if I can help it.
I am looking for a 16hh+ 4 or 5 year old mare with nice breeding for BE90/100 level and dressage. Temperament is the number one priority as I work full time and my Dad helps with bringing in.

I am already keeping an eye on Irish Sport Horse Imports for when their next lot comes in.. I am guessing it could be soon after the Goresbridge Sale on Tuesday? However, any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

On Facebook there are various ID and IDX pages with dealer adds on them, " Irish draught and Irish Draught cross network" and " Irish Draught and Irish sports horse network " are a couple, there are more put ID into search. The forum has some Irish members who will soon be along to point you in the right direction.

Gorsehill Sport Horses might have some nice youngsters, she specialises in breeding and producing super quality Irish event horses.

I've got a Ballinglen horse ( Rebel Mountain) fab, beautiful, easily capable of the level you want, and a nice person to boot!

Have a look at NB equine on Facebook. She doesn't have many but she does have very nice ones. I'm currently beaming after a lovely day with my boy from her yesterday - despite not being ridden properly for two weeks due to saddle issues (he's gone up 3 widths in 8 monthso_O) which were only sorted on Saturday, we went to a fun ride, our first time somewhere with lots of horses since September, and he was a total star.

Kate Ludden is in Kent and she deals mainly in irish imports. Mine is from her and I'm v happy! Would go back to her if I didn't have my heart set on a particular connie breeder for my next one.

Probus Farm Horse Sales have some lovely ones for sale. Not sure if they have any mares atm but would be worth a look.
I’ve just bought a lovely horse from them and couldn’t be happier.

If you’re willing to buy unseen Jazz horses in NI have a very nice looking 5yo mare advertised on their page as having clean vet and X-rays . they’ve also just got in a pile of youngsters that they’re showing pics of on their fb story today.

Heidi Hamilton in Wicklow specialises in eventers, and Laura Snow at Drynam Stables in Dublin breeds and competes ID crosses.
