Iris's Gift retired

His owner was my Uncles coalman before Iris did so well, so we have followed his career closely.

I agree he wasn't natural over fences but he has guts and is a tough horse, he had a certain quality when you saw him at the racecourse and its a shame its been cut short as he was and is a very popular to follow.

I wonder what he will do now?

I've followed him since his early days and have always rated him as one of the best hurdlers in the country.

On reading the report about it, I really do hope they manage to find him an excellent home.

Come to think of it, I have acres of unused grazing waiting for the right tenant....
