Anyone else encountered these?

Whilst looking for schedules for (very small) hunter trials next month, I came across a show schedule with a phrase in it which has caused me to wrestle with a mad desire to go to it, even though it's only showing and involves a 2-3 hour drive

By kind permission of Her Majesty The Queen

Has anyone else ever encountered a statement like that which means nothing in real terms, but amuses you so much you want to attend?

I thought this was a bit
Points will be deducted for the use of any bit other than a snaffle and the use of spurs

Last time I checked spurs wernt penalised for in a dressage test  unless you are using them badly.

Under CRC rules spurs, non-snaffles and nosebands other than cavessons are penalised. I imagine it's because it's an M&M show though...

I didn't even look at the dr - I'd do the showing and the workers and the handy pony :o

I didnt imagine you would be looking at the dressage :p I was just scanning the rules and came across that one so had to check which class it was. Fair enough if thats the rules they run by, never competed at anything not run under BD rules :o.

If only... :D I pottered about indefinitely until I spotted someone in similar garb and followed them at a stealthy distance. Luckily, sans pony!

(switched PCs soon after, no more Sandringham stuff :(!)
