Hello everyone,

Just wanted to know as above if £1250 was reasonable for a 12yr old section D X (with tack). Unaffiliated and needs confident rider as she can spook when alone but safe in traffic. I would be looking to hack her and pop the odd jump.

I thought it was reasonable but partners friend thinks she's alot for her age considering she wouldn't be ''bombproof''. (Partner's friend is a dealer but haven't heard anything about whether he has good or bad rep).

Sounds reasonable to me too! I paid more then that for my cob who was 3 and unbacked!

I would definitely consider that as being reasonable. I paid £1500 for George (section d but unregistered); he had no tack and needed a lot of work, but he's now 18/19 and is a great horse. He's no world beater, but if I'd had him from backing then I probably could have done a lot with him as he's just that kind of horse. As it stands, he was about 11ish when I got him.

Go for it.

I think that sounds pretty reasonable i bought an 11yo mental sec D mare 3yrs ago for £1300 she was beautiful but mental!
go view her i say , best of luck x

I'm so excited! Not sure how the buying process works though. I'm first to view her although others will be going to see a few hours after...If I really really like her (which I do already!) I want to get her vetted just incase..so would I put on offer in dependent on outcome of vetting?
