Can you see pic? I felt okay on him he didn't take up my leg like I'm use too I'm use to more chunky except from my last pony who was 14.1 but quite fine. I normally ride 14hh - 15.2hh. Thanks
You look fine on him but your noticing the difference because your used to bigger i guess ?

Your right I think I will go ahead and do the months trial. Because I Sh*t at making my mind up!
You might get him home and you will have a fab time, but one thing i will say he will probably have his moments lol, new home new adjustments , all new for him so by the end of the month you should have made your mind up ?

Yes he definitely has character but I liked that about him! Thank you!
My big thing is as long as the horse is good on the ground anything else is a bonus and can be worked with . I like a horse with a cheeky character ? id choose one of one that dragged you to the field anyday ?

Looks good to me but then I'm used to seeing slightly longer legs on ponies. Get him then you can properly make your mind up. It's a loan so if it doesn't work out then he has his owner to return to. The BHS has a good loan template contract to look at which would protect you and owner.

I think you will find him too small. Hes not taking up your leg and your body is tall on him. Some ponies ride big, it doesnt sound like he does though. You fell off, probably because you didnt have a lot of horse in front of you.

You are fine to ride this pony, but there will be a much better match for you out there.

I know exactly what you mean, and have had the same thoughts, I would ideally like bigger but it's like finding a needle in a haystack finding the right one. Thank you

Its better to take a bit longer to find the right one, than buy the wrong one and end up having to sell it on
