Just wondering? hes out in a medium weight just now cos im still riding him and dont want him getting too hairy, hes getting clipped in 2 weeks, tracer type thing, neck- under belly one. should i put him up t a 300g or will that be too much for him?he does feel the cold a bit, esp when its raining he looks miserable!

They are all so different...... my WB is fully clipped and out in a 250g and is lovely and warm. But my WCxTB lives out 24/7 not clipped and in a 300g ?????

If he looks cold, put the heavier rug on. If you find he looks too warm, swap back!

What she said! It's rugging, not rocket science

My old cob used to be in a 300g rug and was still cold so had an under-rug yet my thin haired and thin skinned warmblood is getting hot in a medium weight! I think it just depends on the horse
