Is an American Cross the same as a Mexican Grackle ?

Yes, the American cross is identical to the Mexican. Not sure why Kincade range have named their Mexican noseband an American noseband! Here's a link to Robinson's site showing a photo of the Kincade version, as you can see - looks just like what the rest of us call a Mexican grackle.
