sick of the blady weather??? my field has turned into a marsh, my chestnut is now a very dark bay, and don't even get me started on the grey...

my little welshie decided he'd like to go western this morning and amazed me with his sliding stop after cantering from the tope of the field. He might be the new Johnny Tivio...!

well, here's whats keeping me looking on the bright side - if we are getting 1months rain in one day, sunny september from now on right!!!? Or maybe weather doesn't work like that.

Well my brave soldiors are munching bales of hay in there shelter. Poor boys, living out - braving the elements!

my school is like a paddling pool

and my field (on a massive hill) has been deemed too hazardous (sp) for the boys (5 yearling colts) coz its turned into a slip n slide sesh!

i haaaaate the rain, i can handle snow, wind and general coldness just not rain

I hate it .....

We have only managed to get one decent cut of hay....

We then had approx 30 acres sat on the ground cut for 2 weeks, its been bales as silage for the cows.. fingers crossed it doesn't got to mush!!

Got another 30 acres that is being baled again as silage about 50 bales at a time in the dry windows!!

Can't school or lunge youngsters as the ground is too wet, been having to long rein up the lanes. my eventer needs a good gallop as he's turned into a nutter again, but if I go in our fields we'll probably sink to knee high mud!!

Why can't we at least have a dry autumn??!!

My school is fine & my fields are fine (we're on sand) but all this rain & constant grey skies are so jolly depressing. There are a ton of jobs around the yard that were earmarked for this summer, but it's hard to get stuff done when it's always wet.

Sorry guys, it's my fault. I'm just starting to bring my exmoor back into light work after lami, so naturally the weather will now be pants for the next 8 months. sorry!
