Is anyone elses horse looking scruffy?

well shantih has turned from a rather smart ISH looking animal to a dartmoor pony and beyonce has gone from a rather elegant WB filly to a big hair ball of a coming up yearling!
i wont be clipping mine though as i dont ride my foal LOL and my mare only does walking and trotting hacks these days.
they arent rugged either.

No mines a big hairy woollie monster...totally un-clipped and 'au natrel'...hairy legs, feathers, tufts out of his ears, un-pulled mane and tail and whiskers to boot! But he is ever so shiny and looks really well...put it down to benevit from Feedmark.

You should see the state of my big lad! He's ready for clipping again (have got to lock myself in stable with him and use tiny, quiet clippers to get his face done as we had to leave half of it on last time because he tanked around with me - not good as he's almost 17hh and I'm 5'3"!!!!!) and my Niece decided she'd have go at his mane earlier this week. Oh yes, she's had a go alright, it's now not even long enough to plait and is totally uneven! It looks like it was hogged and is now growing back! Oh the shame!

ru looks rather good actually, i have not clipped so full coat and it is in great condition - really pleased with it although i have not pulled his mane since i got him! oh well, roll on summer!

Yup, Jigsaw looks really scruffy but coat has not grown that much so not sure whether to clip. Definately not going to clip alisha again though

I know, I bet that picture is photoshopped to make them look muddy

No joke - these two are probably the cleanest ones on the yard at the moment! Boots has grown over the winter and is now well over 18hh! I think a bit of mud helps them grow ...

MDM it was seeing your two that made me think mine is looking so scruffy! R has blooming rub marks everywhere including reins and rug despite wearing 2 shoulder protectors and as for reins he only really gets hacked out on a loose rein blooming animal. Last year he held on to his coat till May cannot bare that again!
