Is anyone elses horses being really naughty at the moment? Galaxy has been an absolute horror for the last 2 days, yesterday he was fresh but he spent most of the morning rearing and bolting through excitement, i could have just got off and left him where he was and walk home without him at certain points yesterday.

Today he was not as bad just really spooky at times, at least i was in control and front legs only left the ground when they were asked to. He was eyeing up a 3ft6 jump a bit too keenly so made it into a mini cross before he got carried away.

Just feels like a bit of a kick in the balls as recently he has been on fire and now he is just being an absolute toad

Mine is the same at the moment, very spooky jumping at things that arn't there. bunny hopping, spinning round, i need some instant calming supplement.

Yes, but that is normal behavior. I rode a friend's horse at the weekend and was amazed that he did not try to kill me as I was grooming him...

your def not alone! My mare has been pure evil the last three weeks!!! Lost count the amount of times she nearly had me on the deck! although little cow succeeded and landed me in hosp, 7-10 days off at least and now she's being an angel to me!! I can guarantee she'll be a devil again once I climb back in the saddle!!!

My 18 yo feels more like a 6 yo atm but no complaints as all things considered, makes us both feel much younger than we are

He sees monsters, devils and other spooky creatures around every corner but it's for laughs

my pony is an absolute terror, i cant ride him due to being pregnant and he tried to kill the kids that rode him on sunday! i couldnt even lunge him today for fear of being knocked over! at least i have an excuse to hand him over to someone else and they feel obliged to say yes lol!!

Mine is normally the most placid thing on four legs however yesterday was another story.

As I was bringing her in from the field she was rearing, bucking then rearing again all the way to the gate. At one point she went over sideways as she slipped. (luckily she's ok though)

I had to twitch her in the end which is something ive never had to do with her.
