haha yes staying on board is always a plus!! yep we are both going. mud fever all healed up nicely now, she trotted up sound as a pound on saturday and i am back in the saddle - although i will have to sacrifice good turn out in favour of bright yellow protocon socks! but never mind! worried she may not quite be fit enough to go but thats the good thing about the little ones they seem to find extra steam from somewhere!!

I'm hoping to go to the Beginners one in March. Haven't been out with them for years. The Beginners Mock Hunts always used to mad 'hoolies'. Is that still the case?

grey gelding - its good, this time is a new venue though so im afraid i cant tell you what the going etc is going to be like. i believe we will go over church farm again though and it was good there, some steep hills which im not such a fan of as i seem to go down them sideways and at speed! the jumps there were good, mostly open field but a nice wooded part to go through aswell so a nice mix.

FM see you there!! tell her to remember her cigs this time!! haha

madhossy i think my pony will be harder to control at the beginners as shes more used to the slightly faster paced ones now however i love warren barn and the steep hills are great to take the wind out of their sails if they are pratting around!
personally the beginners ones do sometimes seem worse - only from the point that there are more kids and more people who dont have much etiquette in the field, cutting up etc, no ribbons on kickers etc.
the march one im sure will be heaving as the last one of the season. i do enjoy all of warlinghams m-hunts tho, altho boxing day was a bit hairy and i got a bit cross as there were some right plebs out!! i get really annoyed if someones out on a horse that keeps kicking with no ribbon and purposely places it in the middle and close to others, then has the cheek not to apologise when it keeps kicking! but then boxing day is notorious for idiots being out isnt it (sorry 4 that minor rant!)
what horse do you have MHossy? will look out and say hi!
