a riding instructor or training to be one?
This post may get abit long (so, sorry before hand!)
Ever since i've been around horses i knew i wanted to work with them in the future. I left school a year ago, been at college doing an animal related course (mainly small animals) thinking i wanted to be a vetinary nurse/surgeon.
BUT always in the back of my mind i've wanted to be a riding instructor!
Had a long hard think the other day and finally deciding instructing is what i want to do, i always like helping people and seeing them achieve. Used to help a little girl ride her pony and randomly saw her at a show one weekend (just passing through) and she insisted i helped her ride before her class which made me feel quite over-whelmed that i was helping someone achieve also the pony was achieving.
Only thing is, how do i go about it?
e.g. what places are there? who do i contact? what do i need for it? how long does it take?
Thanks in advance
