I have advertised my son's 15.1 all over the place and priced him very cheaply to sell (£2k plus kit). Not a dickey bird. Not a squeak! He's only 11 and very able...the horse , that is! My son is older and abler!
Is anything shifting? Have I made him TOO cheap? maybe folk smell a non-existent rat?!
For those who followed 'At wit's end' post some time ago, girls are now back here, happily reunited, in temporary stables and a heavily fenced-off field. In good form!
www.apricotfox.com for pics of them rolling etc!

Yes, sold my mare last weekend. Similar price to yours. I cant say I was knocked down in the rush, but had some calls. What does your advert say? Maybe someone on here can help make it more appealing?

I have my Section C for sale - hundreds of calls and alot time wasters. No1 to actually come see him - if they did I know they would buy him - but he is a stunning little chap - maybe some of my calls are from dreamers!

No my mare has not i have had to reduce her price she was £4750
now she is £3500

I have just sold the blue roan in the siggy, I advertised in october last year and she has been on Horsequest eversince. She is now going to North Devon. I redid the ad 3wks ago and had 2 phonecalls, luckily she has sold as she is rather outgrown, it will be a sad day on tues when she goes.

Well I can't find anything to buy!

I only want a 14 hh ish cob type for happy hacking, colour, gender age ( less than 18 tho!) not important just must be 100% in any traffic.
I have a loan pony atm until July 1st and I would love to buy him but the owner wants £2000 for him. He's 14.1hh 18 yr old and hasn't done anything for over a year. He's awful in the school, looks like a giraffe!

Is that too much to pay?

well i've bought one and sold one so yes! but i DO think there are lots of cheeky people about atm who are trying to get nices horses for nothing! i agree that perhaps something putting people off with your ad...lets have a look at it!

i have a lovely coloured fully papered and reg BSPA well marked skewbald mare really good event/showjump bloodlines, well schooled 6yrs old, 16 hh ready to go. And no buyers! she' had 2 people see her but no one has got on with her! and for £4k only! last year she would have been at least 6k and snapped up, i would have had ques going round the block for her! Its mental, and i would rather keep and produce further than give her away, as she's really rather lovely.

Ditto - bought one and sold one - both were cheaper than they would have been last year so it all came out in the wash. Good luck - it only takes one person.
