I've only ever used their boots, which I feel are brilliant. My last pair lasted me 12 years and have only just replaced them with a new pair. Apparently their customer service is second to none. Never had to query anything with them myself but I know people who have and Ariat have really gone the extra mile for them. I would definitely recommend.
They are one of the, if not the, most commonly worn brand in a large portion of the sates (all of my barn wore them). I woudln't say the boots last 12 years (I've just replaced mine after 5 years and 4 of those I didn't ride but I was HARD on them). I would of gotten the same boots but my daughter messes with them and I wanted something a bit different.
This. Love the boots and when my ones broke (zip) they replaced quickly with no fuss and the replacements lasted years until I eventually wore them to death!
*there is meant to be quote on the top of this post... good customer service.
They are myfave breeches and I like thir boots . I have a pair of half chaps of them that lasted 8 years (of every day use)and still are functionall but look a bit manky now
Love their stuff got some boots from them which split after less than a year, sent them an email and some photos and they sent me a free new pair straight away and i had them a few days later!
Comfiest pair of shoes I've ever owned
I love their stuff, it lasts a long time if you look after them.
I also recently bought a new waterproof jacket from them which turned out not to be so waterproof after an hour in the pouring rain. I contacted them and they asked me to send the coat back for them to review, they sent me a brand new one within a week of posting the old one. Their customer service was fantastic and I understand that product faults can happen even to the top brands!
I wouldn't buy anything else now as they are so comfortable. Have Ariat Cobalt Devon Pros and half chaps I wear in the summer and Grasmeres for the winter.
People seem to rave about Ariat but I have never bought anything from them before (out of my price range!). However I did treat myself to a pair of their gloves a couple of weeks ago for £30, not madly impressed to be honest. They're meant to be if not waterproof, at least showerproof (they're not) and I'm not finding them particularly warm either. They're boots are supposed to be good though.
Like others, love my Ariat Bromonts. Had them about 5 years now I think (probably more) and use them only for events but they've been through lots of mud etc. at BE things and never once leaked.
I have Ariat Grasmere boots and a couple of pairs of short boots. I'm not keen on either of the paddock boots but I do love the Grasmeres. They're the only boots that are warm enough to ride in over here during winter. Mine have held up really were as they are abused a fair bit. I used to be a Dubarry girl but after the last couple of pairs fell apart I won't buy them anymore. I'm not an Ariat girl, a lot of their styles I just do not like, but where Grasmeres are concerned, I love 'em.
I have a pair of their lace up jodphur boots ( got a cracking deal on then) and they are brilliant, great quality and very comfy, I also have a pair of their gloves which again are a good fit and seem very well made!
I have the Brossard paddock boots and they are brilliant. I use them for dog training (miles of heelwork and lots of tracking, mud mud mud) and they are the only things that have yet to fall apart.
Grasmere's - 3 years (still look like new);
paddock boots & leather chaps about 4-5 years (would look like new if wretched horse hadn't run my leg into a stone wall!!);
Telluride boots - these are the best boots ever. They felt really odd when I first had them, and I didn't think I was going to get on with them. By then, I had worn them enough to wear them in - and they were the most comfortable things ever! I wore them to trade shows, standing on my feet for 3 days solid, and my feet didn't feel remotely tired at the end! I wore them for about 3 years, and now my mum has adopted them for doing her nordic walking in - and she has been wearing them for another couple of years.
I live, work, ride and compete (endurance) in Ariat Terraines because they are so comfortable and wear well compared to other brands. Am on my third pair - they last around 3 years, but I do hammer them. In NZ it is cheaper to buy them from the US. Yay for the www.
Their boots are the only ones I wear.
I won my first pair from PONY magazine when I was 10 and I've only just got a new pair nearly six years later. They last so well, cannot fault them
Im a bit of a boot addict....iv got several pairs of ariats. Totally adore my grasmeres, they have been fantastic and 3 years in they are still going. Had a problem with brand new bromonts, the zip went when I tried them on at home, but ariat replaced them immediately. Just started wearing a new pair of derwents h2o and really like them so far
The are OK but I find the zips on the boots and clothing really let the products down. Most people I know have had to have zips replaced before owning the products for a year.
Love my ariat boots, terrains for £15 off tack sale... Fab but there boots are good chaps too but love their mules. Teach in them all day nearly every day
I love ariat, I have the grasmeres and the bromonts. I did need to send the grasmeres back to have one of the lace guides fixed, they said it would take a week, I sent them on the Monday afternoon, they were back with me the Wednesday morning, now that really is exceptional service! I have dubarrys too -their customer service, erm....., Shall we say it's not quite the same?! I only buy Ariats now!
Almost all my boots are Ariat, not planned but haven't found anything that compare. I also like their chaps too and have a waterproof blouson jacket I live in when riding out.
They are good boots. Comfortable, warm and do the job. Expensive, but mine are still going six years on. Joddy boots have walked miles with me. Grasmeres have kept my weird Raynauds toes warm. Bromonts have kept my leg in a good position. Would much rather spend money on good riding boots than girlie shoes.
