Cool there should be a book!! I keep some in my pocket for all those everyday emergencies. I bet you could even make soup from it *trys to remeber a film where I saw something similar*
I'm a bit disappointed - I was hoping for some ideas for christmas presents I could make out of baler twine, not just practical uses. My horse has spent all my money so I'm trying to be creative this year.
I suppose a range of jewelery would be an option for the girls. Any ideas for my OH and the recipe for the soup would be much appreciated.
I use it as a saw to open the next bale of hay. Beats leaving knives around! There is a farm not a million miles from where I live that was referred to as baler twine farm for years due to the owner's imaginative use of twine for absolutely everything!
I use it to saw through more baler twine to open bales of hay too. I wonder if the baler twine finds it rather disturbing to be attacking its own kind in such a manner?

Excellent for putting biscuits (bit rings) onto bits!!!
Emergency grass reins for naughty grass eating ponies!!
Attach a piece to both D rings and you've got a nifty handle for learners to hold onto when learning to keep their hands still!!
Plaited baler twine makes excellent string for broken haynets!
Tie a long bit to a hoof pick and tie the other end to your skip!!! Wont go walkies then!!
Make shift fillet string!
Most of my other uses have been listed!! I'm sure theres lots more though!!!
