Im thinking of buying some brushwood screening to provide some shelter for my horses during the coming summer months. The thing is, one of my mares is a bit of a nibbler  and im 99% sure she'll have a nibble on this and i can't find any info on whether or not it would do her any harm or if it would be ok . Can anyone help? This is the link to item

I have had this stuff at my stables to provide some privacy screening from the lane. Its ok as a tempory screen but there is alot of thin wire holding the brushwood together and this rusts very quickly and then breaks and the whole lots comes down.
Both of mine had a bit of a nibble at the brushwood and were fine but I wouldnt recommend it.
I have the plastic windbreak fabric it does the job. I even have it on our fence to protect the newly planted hedge from next doors sheep ( they all lie behind it now to keep our of the wind)

This sort of thing, shop arround its quite cheap on ebay and you can double up to make a better windbreak, really easy to put up using cable ties.

Hope this helps :O)

Thanks for that. How long did the brush last before it started to fall apart? Ill have a look in to the plastic windbreak ;)

Mine did about 5 months but the horses were not able to reach it most of that time, i dont know how long it would last with a nibbler.
It is hard to secure as well because the wire is so thin it breaks with pressure, get a good wind onto it and it will rip itself apart. If you could batton it with wood where the wire is I suppose that would solve the wind problem and the thin wire as the battons would make the whole lot stronger.
