I have had my horse advertised on the web for 4 hours now and have had 2 people ring who sound really keen. I'm hoping it's the colour that appeals and not that I've priced him too low.

I'm selling him because I'm finding 3 horses a bit too much to deal with at the moment........ so why have I been looking on Horsemart all evening?!!!

Dapple greys have never been out of fashion! It's the one colour which seems to always be "in".

Give us the details and we can try to price him for you to see if you have put him in too cheaply.

I've always wanted my own grey and i finally managed to get one in august,i'm so pleased with her as she doesn't seem to roll in mud much and keeps herself v.clean, bonus!
I love greys, they are very eye catching and have always been very fashionable.Well done you, hope you get a fab home for yours.

It would take me a while to get the photo on photobucket and then re-size it and by then this post will be on page 2.

He's too ploddy for you Flintus and certainly wouldn't get you round a course of jumps in a hurry!

Well if anyone is being pedantic then I guess yes it would be seen as advertising, however it's no different from others on here asking us to price their horses. You've already advertised and have had a great deal of interest in the short time the advert has been out so can't see anyone bothering about it.

Don't worry, we'll wait for you to upload your photo. Doesn't photobucket automatically resize for you? Does for me.

I don't think there is a link as I put it in the FreeAds on the web and it will be printed in the paper this week. Sorry, I'm not too clever with computers.

I think I should have sold him before all this wet weather as he is now covered in mud and has bad hair days with all the burrs stuck in his mane!

my pony was a steel dapple grey when he was 5... now hes only dappled on his bum and shoulders... a grey/white colour on the rest

i love a good rich bay colour though...so much easier to clean

ets the first pic in sig was when he was 8

Well of course I'm biased as I have a dapple too but they are my favourite colour. Maggie was a gorgeous dapple when I first had her, only dapple on her bum now and fleabitten on the rest! They get whiter with age.
I always get lovely remarks when out riding, people seem to love the unusual markings on dapples. They are getting a rareity now.

I know! I wish they'd stay dark grey forever

Going white is so c*ap! I only realised how much my boy had turned lighter when I had a vetting yesterday - they were doing the body identification thingy and on his old one it said he had white marks seen on his legs and also a big star on his forehead - did he?! I dont even remember that! He's now gone so white...

But when wet, I can still see the pink splotches where he had his dapples

Some certainly do look lovely, but I've had 3 greys on loan before and they were all utter sods to do anything with! I couldn't cope with all the cleaning, Flash is bad enough with his white bits, but then he is like a hippo when it comes to mud!
