Not normally - but ....

Myler use the term "Dr Bristol" when they really mean "french link" so a Myler with a "Dr Bristol" mouthpiece may be permitted.

The difference is the angle. A French link will be angled so that the middle plate lies flat on the tongue. A Dr Bristol is at a far more acute angle so that the edge of the plate will be digging in.

Dr Bristols are not but rounded / lozenge links are and they come in a range of sized and effects I notice.

That myler is one that you can have either way up- one way up it has tongue relief and angles slightly away from the tongue. Flip it upside down and it is a flat plate and angles slightly into the tongue
