Hiya
My horse has had a steroid injection in his hock. My vet said i need to be careful with grass intake and feeds as there is a higher risk of laminitis.
I forgot to ask them if it was ok to give him a joint supplement that has glucosamine in with it being sugary
Thanks in advance
:-)

I would have thought so but you might want to stop any carrots/apples/mints if you do give these as treats for a while. Its only for a few days, did he tell you to keep him in for 48 hours afterwards (off the grass). If he didn't I would seriously do so unless you have a very small or bare paddock especially with the rain we have had/are getting in some parts of the country today.

He had the injection about 4 weeks ago so he is out and about with a muzzle - i was just thinking about starting with a supplement to help going forwards :-)
