I’ve got some bales of hay that unfortunately have got damp and gone black and mouldy. They are stored in an open lean to type building with tarpaulin over the top of some as made too many. I’ve started moving them around today to move the good ones under the roof now I’ve got more room and opened a few to save the good parts - they were a little warm inside. How likely is it they could catch fire or is that more in the curing process? I’ve just felt them again now and they are cold. I have moved them into a pile next to my muck heap at the moment but there are still a fair few more for me to sort through…
