I have a young pony, who I'm unable to progress myself any further with, and now find I not in the position to be able to pay anyone else to do the job I should be doing with him. So best now I think to find him another home?
14.1hh (possibly 14.2hh now, but won't go overheight) registered and quality New Forest gelding. Rising 5 years.lovely natured, very much a peoples pony. Excellent to catch, box, with farrier, vet, dentist, in stable. No vices or allergies. Lives in or out happily - can be left on own in field or stable when other horse goes out.
Stunning to look at, and moves very well. Has been lunged and very lightly backed last year, but will need a lot of work and time this year to bring him on as a ridden pony. So he's a project really, for experienced home.
I took him out over the summer 2009 in hand showing, which he did well at and was well liked by all the judges. Well behaved at shows, no airs above the ground or anything like that!
