Just thought I'd jump on the bandwagon, at 600kg (George not me

) and 16.3 and me at 5ft 4" I don't think there is much danger of me being too big - even though I would like to weigh somewhat less

at least having a bigger horse means that when I fall off I have time to try and save myself!!

I'm 5ft 3 and used to ride a 17.3 WB, I looked like a smurf all the way up there!

You look fine on him, not at all over horsed, nice long legs for your height too, I ride really short which makes me look even smaller!

Fallen from height definitely does mean you get plenty of time to try and save your self or aim your butt at the ground, I fell off my big boy loads and I always fell on my butt...my 13.2hh pony on the other hand put me on my head on various occasions!
 
I am only having a joke, he is just fine for me, I like having plenty of horse to hang onto! Thankfully George doesn't ride like a big horse though.

Nice of you to say I have long legs, I always think they're short and that I ride far to short!
 
You look really good on him.
I am the same height as you, but I look ridiculously small on my husbands horse who is about 16.1hh. He does ride big though, and I sometimes feel I should be wearing a parachute!

I feel "right" on something about 14.2hh- 15.2hh, and its easier to zip about on the wiggly pony tracks on the Forest on a smaller one.

George is TOTALLY gorgeous and you are so right for each other.

Awww, although I don't post on here that often I have lurked about for ages now (not in a scary stalker way I hasten to add!). I love George, I've never had my own horse, always begged and borrowed them from anywhere. Now living in the middle of London having my own seems like a long way off. I love the fact that you now have George, gives me hope that one day I'll be able to have one of my own too. He really is gorgeous.
