British Owned Stallions Excel

Now I am thrilled for FB and the success of her stallions, however, I found the following quote she said amusing:

Now she purchased both these stallions at auction.............so the above makes no sense to me because they are not bred in Britain.......they were both bred in Germany, so how does this show that the British are coming along with the breeding aspect of dressage horses???

I have to say that aside........to have a stallion have nothing but 9's and 10's for their performance result is excellent........

Here is a bit of useless info for you..........

Do you know that the chesnut stallion Fiona rode at the start of her Grand Prix dressage career, "Dance & Fly" was Scottish bred (bred by Straloch Stud in Aberdeenshire), sold back to Germany where he was trained and then sold on to Fiona. She did still have him in retirement, but not sure if she still has him or not.

My mum still has his sire "Duplikat" at the ripe old age of 32!

When me and my OH worked in Denmark Fiona was based at the same yard and my hubby warmed Dance and Fly up often for her...some more useless info for you lol but i also agree with your point on the statement, where was this written??

I think she means that the competition is improving and she finds it harder to win with imported horses but it is very badly worded!

Maybe she means that she has bought these fabulous stallions and as they are now based in Britian they are suddenly British and will improve british breeding?????
