....the amazing jumping mini Shetland!

The rider is getting a solo ride for the first time tomorrow, Titchy has been at "school" since Monday but as with everything, he's a quick study!

Video won't play on my phone! :/ But he looks so cute! :D
Would love to have a couple of minis in my life one day.. The OH rolls his eyes when I say that ^_^

On iPhone/iPad press the three horizontal lines at the top left and scroll down to "desktop" press that and it will work :)

My daughter rides him, I just wanted him to learn to work off the lead rein. He is a superstar. We got him and backed him in January.

I do look forward to his videos. He's got a lovely little jump, bless him :) And he's a beautiful chap.

And excuse me but how come you've had sun in Scotland?! Though it might be deceptive as looks like you're all wearing warm coats :D

Heh heh thanks guys. He is a pony in a million I reckon.

Mocha it was sunny but windy. The road not far from me was closed due to snow today... It's been quite nice last few weeks tho! (Relatively speaking!!)

SNOW? In May? Causing road closures? Ouch!

I'd best go watch your vid to cheer me up ;)

OMG LOVE HIM! Look at those little legs going! This has also helped me to understand how one can operate two lunge lines without knitting a jumper out of them... although I can barely manage one sometimes ;-)

Yes I was very impressed with Jo's long lining round a course skills. I can long line on a circle but not sure I'd manage that!

He never thinks about not jumping either, he loves it. No knock downs yet either!

Congratulations on being so competent with double lunge lines. He is a sensitive little chap isn't he? And how nice to see that a little one can be kept slim and fit despite being so near the ground. I was reading just today of a 32 inch tall mini-Shetland that in its younger days could jump 34 inches.

Ah thanks guys. I was videoing, not "steering", Joanna Heaton has had him since Monday to get him long reining for me. I felt he was worth a week or so in professional hands to get it consolidated and its been well worth it.

First ever solo ride, and my daughter who is only just 4 hasn't done much steering and none off the lead before. And yes, I know her shoes are unsuitable, I forgot her boots. Daisy rein and bent leg irons being purchased tomorrow before her next ride, so I don't need any rows;)

Lol I didn't catch the point when the poles on the side of the pen fell down for no apparent reason and he spooked, she fell off and he stood on her foot on video, or when he double barrelled her in the stable for being too close to his tea but since he is so good normally we will forgive that. :o:D

I had her trotting on the lunge too but it was beyond me to vid that at this stage!:D

The vid still looks good :p and after all these are the things that make riding what it is! Which must mean that we are all bonkers!

Yes you are absolutely right. I felt bad however when she told me Titchy had forgiven her and she was very sorry for being frightened when the jumps fell down which made him frightened! (Really not how it happened just her interpretation!). I assured her she has nothing to be sorry for and falling off is no big deal. Titchy is never getting another bucket feed as long as he lives, so that's that problem cured :D

What a lovely little girl she is, Certainly not one to blame the pony :) I agree re bucket of feed,
