Is it "allowed" to slag off a yard/person on internet forums?

Ok I have clearly not read T&Cs!!

Anyway, there's been a bit of drama at our yard recently and a few people have left. Was speaking to YO today and apparently one of the other liveries has spotted on another forum people saying "I've had a seriously bad experience at XYZ, don't touch it with a barge pole".

Surely people should not do this?

tbh as long as people don tname others and places i dont see it a problem

if people want to name and shame - it should be done by pm :)

they always find out one way or another, even if names are not mentioned. when you recognise a user, such as the things they are saying (maybe they had an incident out on a hack etc) or the horses names etc. doesnt take much. we have had an incident like that round our way.

very true, i know of a couple of people on here who are either on my yard or have been. all but 2 people have been fine, said things how it's been/happened etc.

however there are the 2 that seem to like turning things around to make themselves out to be the 'victim' in an arguement or the 'hero' in a situation. it's annoying but i just smile to myself the next time i see them! :D

one person was all out to get people to feel sorry for her and i remember reading everyones replies all in her favour. i kept thinking, if only you knew! at the end of the day you only get one side of a story on a forum/internet so it's up to you whether you believe or not.
