is it free/cheap to advertise in Farmer's Guardian?

has anyone ever put an ad in the farmer's guardian? i was about to put one in, asking for land to rent... but can't see the price without registering...

are there any other free/very cheap places to advertise that local farmers will see?

Do you have a local farmers shop, like BATA or Robert Webster's or something?? Not like a veg farmers shop thingy, oh you know what I mean!!

I sold a horse via the Farmers Guardian some years ago and it was quite pricy to advertise as I remember

I advertised for land in the Farmers Guardian the ad was approx. £35 but not a single reply. And i needed anything from 4-10 acres and for rent or buy.
I found my place in the local feed shop.
Try to put ads up in yours.
Mine was free too. ( the ad. not the land... I wish)
