...to make three difficult horses saleable in two days? I started my new job today, got given three horses to ride, and those three just happen to be the ones that are being viewed on Thursday to buy. I have:
1) a 5yo that thinks he's a spoilt 3yo, has been out in the field for three weeks, thought he could get away with murder and was annoyed to find out that he couldn't... also naps really badly
2) a very well-trained (over-trained?) 5yo who freaks out when rein and/or leg contact is applied, but reverses when one or the other is removed because he feels insecure
3) another really really nappy horse that got ridden by someone else today, so I literally have tomorrow to learn to ride him well enough to make someone want to buy him (day off Wed)... oh and his party trick is zooming off at 90mph if you get on using a mounting block (assuming you can get him close enough in the first place)
Oh joy

Don't get me wrong, they would all be fantastic horses if they had been ridden well/enough, but due to recent staffing issues they just haven't

I like a challenge but I'm not sure about three all at once!

Well I hadn't thought about it like that, but I suppose I am allowed to ride more than one horse per day so each horse gets ridden twice

I just don't know whether to bother trying too hard because I know that really it can't be done..!
