........do you like a tidy yard,I guess not much to ask is it!!!!Last night I had to empty the same yard rubbish bin,take the rubbish all of a 3 minute walk and dump it into the skip,I have done this most of the time,as the bin was packed to the top with the metal lid and badly on overload!...This leaves me in total bewilderment as why no one see's this,and why the lazy lot can't empty it!So last night I took the bin and hid it,so that from now on it's not this sucker who has to keep doing it!!!........Tonight it will be "Where's the bin?"....and with a big

i hold my hands up to being untidy with my personal belongings but not the yard its self!! i want to be on a smart yard not on emmerdales dingle farm!

I love clean and tidy yards!! Thankfully I don't share mine with anyone really. Only the gardeners who mill in n out and leave a trail of mud from thier boots or wheel barrows!!
Know what you mean regards the 'yard bin'!! Tis usually me who empties ours when it is them who fill it the most!! Funny eh!

Like a tidy yard, but not extreme. We used to have a livery (next to us

), who had a dustpan and brush and would sweep every little grain of dirt up and then go mental if you made a mess.

And she always used to make my daughter empty the yard bin - which isn't that easy for a little person. She used to do it just for a quiet life.

Our yard gets progressively untidier during the week but gets blitzed every weekend when we are all off work and have time to do it.

would love mine to be tidy, am bit obsessive bout it actually, but at moment is crossed between a yard and a building site, hopefully in a few weeks though i can go back to my obsessive sweeping

I cant bear to walk away and leave mess so have to sweep before I leave. There are a few of us who seem to end up doing the washing up and emptying the bin and others who either cannot see it, dont care or who havent time.

Ive worked enough yards over the years to know that theres no point banging your head or ranting and raving about untidy people....you just have to run round after them or put up with it!

Yup!!! EVERY night before I go I sweep the indor barn we are in, tidy up the wheelbarrows and sweep outside the front of the barn - which gets some amuseing looks as it basically mud! I also take it on myself to clean behind and around the feedbins. You can find some revolting stuff there

I am not bothered about doing it all the time, but I just wish the others would at least try as I dont make it tidy for them, its for the horses and just cause its not nice to find sh*te IN your boots!
Its not easy though as the haylege and Straw sit at the entrance to the barn and blow everywhere!! And the only place ot keep some stuff is in front of your stable, so you cant get a clean sweep most of the time.

I have the picture of my ideal yard though..........................need to win the lottery or marry a millionaire! My friend thinks Im mad though as I would want to work on the yard and not just own it, I woul dhave to make sure everything is done properly

My yard has to be immaculate all the time...my tackroom is quite messy tho! i do tidy up every so often, when i can no longer move for rubbish!
