As the question says my horse has just had her wolf teeth taken out as she throws her head about a lot, there was so much blood coming out of her mouth as the tooth was taken out, she was under sedation BT when I left the yard she looked so unhappy, does anybody else feel like that or is it me just being pathetic at seeing my horse in pain!

i hate the way they look so day coming around from sedation and how very upset taz got after having bandages changed and he had it done twice a day and the fact the vet had to sedate him just to trim his feathers just to see a cut he hated her though so used to try and kick her often which is unlike him... changed vet and he was fine he doesnt mind anything at all now although the vet had to dig out the sole of his foot to get at an abscess and he reared because it hurt and squeeled neither of which he does at all felt like a very bad mum :(

Nope, my 3 can be damn right naughty being young so teeth rasp time and jags time is Mum's revenge ;)

I would feel bad if they were ill tho, my little section D had colic at 10 months old and I was so upset seeing her suffering, I just wanted my naughty little witch back to being her normal brat like self :D

Agree with au slander although I have to say I do feel awful with my girl being poorly at the moment, she stands and takes anything off the vets at the moment but shes just not herself. I know I'm doing everything I possibly can as an owner for her but I still feel guilty because I feel so helpless :( having said that when Ben was gelded I felt utterly smug as he had turned into a testosterone monster... As someone else said, that was enjoyable payback ;)

No, I dont feel guilty. I think I would if Id done something wrong that caused an injury or ailment that needed treatment but could have been avoided, but for regular treatment no, why would I.
