a new horse!! Either to buy or loan?? Have funds, will travel, just want something 15.3-17.2hh sane uncomplicated allrounder to have fun with?
I dont want a world beater, am not fussy on sex/breed/age so why cant i find one??

Am beginning to wonder if there is such a horse out there and feel like giving up!
 
Kitsune, i know what youre saying but im getting frustrated now!! Have been looking for 3 months!! Am getting downhearted going to see horses advertised as 16.1 and finding they are 15.1 if that! Or they are lame, or wont hack out alone (when on phone was told they did!) Buyers are often described as timewasters but it seems a lot of sellers are too!!

Oh no, I can quite sympathise. Why don't you post what you are looking for - sometimes forum members have something for sale that might just be perfect ;)
 
Slapped on the wrist for what? I'm just getting to know you?! :)

I like that size of horse too. Do you like TBs or are you a middleweight type (like an ISH) or a heavyweight loving person?
 
Always good to get to know someone in here!

Always used to have tb/arab types but in recent years am leaning towards ISH or ID types, even cob x tb. I have less ability to bounce back from cranky types as i did when younger!! Want a simpler life and a less high maintenance horse (selfish i know but have had stress-heads all my life and it has started to turn me into one!!)
 
Yeah I agree there wholeheatedly! So, what do you want to do with your new friend? Happy hacking, allrounder, competitions? All of the above? :D
 
All of the above really, just without the stress!! (impossible i know!) I used to be a sj addict but am now very much into dressage! Love hacking but the majority of it is done on my own! A nice show hunter type is my dream!

Enough about me...So what do you have/do??
 
I have nothing! *cries*

I will be looking to buy soon, but I usually like to let the horse come to me! I'd rather buy off someone known to me or through word of mouth really!

I have had a few horses, since I was about 6/7. Two welshies, one TBxQH, one gypsy cob, one TBxcob, one IDxTB, one straight TB and one ISH *phew* Goodness only knows what I'll end up with next - heh I'm even thinking of a mare *drumroll please!* :D

I've been stuck in a quiet livery for about 8 months, worst move i ever made. So the hunt is also on for a good livery, but I might end up back where i call "home" the livery I have been on for abou 2 years on and off.

You have my life story now! And I have yours, kind of - so I'll keep an ear to the ground for you, for your new horsey :D
