, they must think nobody will notice because it's dark and early, the rangers wont be happy, they have allready put logs strapped down with rope to stop people churning up the grass verges along the rest of the drive, thats all very well but if you are trying to get past an oncoming vehicle with your trailer it makes it more awkward than necesssary, gets me down, somebodys going to get a handfull of mud across their windscreen and up their exhaust pipe if they keep doing it.

Havent had a dry day here in weeks, rode in the rain but both of us was miserable, anyone want to buy me an indoor arena for christmas??

Yes it is a bit grim! I seem to be constantly soaked...woke up this morning to the wind and rain lashing accross the windows again...thinking oh boy I have to go out there in a minute!
Just outside my mobile field stable is all surface mud...not the deep stuff where you can 'walk the ruts' but an inch or so of slippery stuff on a firm base...I just know I will be in it one day soon...the near misses have been too many!
Riding is tricky because whilst I don't care about getting soaked I don't really want my boy getting soaked as he is not clipped and takes ages to dry...I like to just put his rug back on and turn out but that is tricky with a dripping wet hairy beast.!

Kept horses in....never seen a fat cob move so quickly to get back into his box, after I had mucked out.......at the mo here very windy so on my return to the yard I will have to tighten up the electric fencing while stood in glorious mud!
