To cut a very long story short. I've decided to sell my mare, we've had 2 and a half good years together but with work commitments and not ever really 'clicking' with her, she is now up for sale.

I feel really bad for saying the next bit, but now she is up for sale and I've decided it's for the right reasons. It's not that I wish her gone, but I kind of just want the whole process to be finished now so we can both move on. I'm really struggling being caught in this horrible limbo where I can't move forwards.

Please tell me I'm not a horrible person and that others have felt like this as well?

You don't click. So she may well be the perfect horse lifelong friend for the next owner.

It's never easy parting with an animal and its natural to want it gone quickly.

when you find the right home for her you will be able to relax and move on. It's always a difficult time

It's a difficult time, you really just want the difficult time over and done with rather then being mean. I felt the same about my little cob and I was only loaning him. You are not being mean just protecting your feelings. I hope you find a buyer soon. Good luck.
