Does this horse look lame on its off hind to you? By off hind I mean its leg furthest away from you when it works on the left rein. It does me or do my eyes deceive me. Looks as though there is toe dragging in walk and then reduced flexion in trot and slight snatching up of the leg. This horse is currently for sale btw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKBzAltohk4

Well this horse is not a youngster as it is 7 years of age so I would question it being unbalanced as I was of the opinion it is mainly young or green horses that are?

Id say yes, possibly bi- lateral, but definitely worse on the off hind, the horse doesnt look like hes flexing and stepping under properly.
Im not so sure that there not something going on further up either as the movement is very unlevel and he looks really quite sore

I'd also say the horse looks lame. Though it doesn't surprise me, have had dealings with this dealer before.......bargepole springs to mind....

Watching that clip gave me a twinge in my pelvis!

The horse clearing isn't tracking up on his off fore, he's dragging the leg in my opinion. Stifle or Sacroiliac????

The videographer is keen to fade out the shots of the horse on the left rein coming round by the camera...

EDS - just had another look at the vid. What an awful vt!! poor horse. Strikes off on the wrong leg in canter and can not work in an outline. Really unbalanced in the 'long' canters along the side of the fence. It looks awful. Wonder how much they are asking for this mare

Same^ i felt an athritic twinge and a sticky stiff stifle. Prob had a bad fall on hard ground OR driven into the ground as a youngster :-/ shame.

I'm glad it wasn't just me then. I wasn't interested in buying this horse and have no connection with the seller. Incidentally it is not listed that I know of by the dealer associated on youtube but through someone else, but not sure if they are connected in any way.
The horse is up for sale at £895 as it has a sarcoid on its neck too, no mention about its hind leg action at all though in the listing. It is listed on Preloved seller's name beginning with L and ad is 15.2 id mare Holly. Shame as she looks a sweet thing hence why I decided to have a look at the video.
