I had bought some cob-size MT travel boots for Ronnie as they were half price in a sale and he's not a full size in boots, however the hinds just are too short, really though fronts fit beautifully. So yesterday I bought some DH full-size ones (hinds hit lovely, fronts a touch too big - argh!).

I swear they're identical (except in size). I seriously couldn't find any difference between them. Is this a well-known fact?

Looks like I might now have two cob-size hind MT's and two full-size front DH's on ebay! Doh.

It's not uncommon for manufacturers to sell two almost identical products to two different companies, stick a "good" label on one and a "brand name" label on the other and sell them for different prices. I only found this out because my grandma used to work for Mr Kipling (cakes!) and they used to make cakes for Sainsburys and other places too!

I disagree - I have both and they are VERY different - no elastic on the MT ones for starters!

Tesco Value low energy lightbulbs are made by Philips and their own brand washing machines are by Zanussi!!! Just a bit more insider info for you all , and no I don't work for Tesco!

Hiya, don't know if Mark Todd travel boots are identical to Derby House travel boots or not but i've got Barnsby travel boots and i would say they are totally identical to Mark Todd ones. Don't know if the same company makes both?

Yes, most of these things are produced in the same places, and as was said before, just a different label sewn in! Which is why as nice as it is to be flash really isn't that worth it!

I have the Mark Todd boots, and I think the set was 54.99? So only about a tenner more than most, but still, would have been nice to have saved the money...ebay is the best though really (she says, having now waited two weeks for a set of clippers...hmmm)

Yes they are. I got the DH ones - £30 brand new, my friend bought the MT ones for £60 something and they are identical. I've had my boots for about 6 years and they are still perfect - well the DH label has fallen off.
