Oh, I will... I'll let him know that you don't want him anymore...
TBH, I do think it looks very cheap for what it is and if it is from a dealer... Who knows though! It does look like it has taken a rather drastic flying leap at that fence though - I can't say I'd be too happy if it took off comparatively that far away going into 1.20m...

Nooooooooooooooooooo! do not tell him, other wise I will come and get him tonight and there will be no more Grey Pony for you my girl
Cant be too dangerous! Look at what the rider is wearing!!! No hat, boots jods???Or do you think that is just a ploy??????
But not sure BSJA go that small???
Think it looks quite nice actually and probably quite reasonably priced, if its done something, for a 14 yr old as you are coming to that "difficult to insure" age
Just for heaven's sake, make sure you mow your grass BEFORE you come and fetch him... I just, and I do mean 'just' got him down to a reasonable weight now (100kg less than when I bought him!
) and with flipping spring grass on the way...
And also that is blackmail... *packs bags to spend a night on the yard* Oh, and I'm armed... allbeit with a waterpistol
Oh, and you still think you're coming to ride him sometime....???!
Seriously, when are you coming to meet my little fluffball? Please give me plenty of warning, that way I switch him onto tiger oats for a laugh...
No they won't... he's a barrel on legs so you're lucky if your feet get past the girth lol! I'm 5'4" and he's fine for me but people up to 5'8"/5'9" have ridden him no trouble at all. Most people think he's bigger than 14hh when they meeet him - I was once accused of him being 15.2!
And anytime you're around or fancy meeting up for a ride or something, do let me know...
this person has about 70 hits on google on his mobile number so is obviously doing a fair bit of business, and many appear to be imports from Holland. Given that there is a cost associated with transporting them here, and he wants to make a profit too, he must be buying them very very cheap. He is either a magician at turning them round (in which case I would love to know his secret) or these animals have hidden issues - they must have been purchased at meat money prices
I know a dealer that gets horses shipped over to him, he doesn't even look at them until they arrive at his yard.
If he has one that hasn't got much potential then he sells it off with not much profit and bumps up the price on the rest of them to cover costs so that may be why its reasonably priced!!
It really worries me that people dont look more into these adverts.....
If someone is advertising a SJumper, then you expect to see a professional photo taken at a show...
If someone advertises a dressage star, then you want to see the same in dressage mode.
Any advert that contains a rubbish picture that does not relate to what they are selling it for would worry me. Even a sensible dealer would take it to a local show to get a proper pic!!
If its a showjumper with a picture of it stood in a field then I dont bother even picking up the phone...
He's 14 though! And it says up to newcomers - but who knows if he even got round a newcomers course....!! You have to be careful and read into HOW they say things! And I agree, if he's done that - why on earth doesnt he have way better SJ pics? That one is terrible and the fence is tiny.....!
