Last year I bought my lovely horse from (what I now know to be) a dealer. He was in a very poor state as were all the other horses - at least 20 of them! They had no facilities other than a tiny schooling paddock and hacking was only on a very busy inner city road.
Anyway - yesterday I saw an ad for a hunter on a facebook group. He's very cheap for a quick sale and the owner has clearly stated that he thrives off regular work - has to be kept fit all year round, needs a very confident rider as he's strong etc etc.
Said 'dealer' has asked for more details, then said she was very interested and asked to arrange a viewing.
My immediate feeling was to contact this owner of the horse and just politely warn her that this lady interested is a dealer and the home she offers does not seem suitable for what this horse needs. He'd literally be plonked in a field and trotted around a paddock once every couple of weeks!
So, should I contact this lady or just leave it?
