...jealous? the pony that i was riding for a friend has gone on loan, although, she is still at the yard. and the girl loves her to pieces. but i feel kinda jealous. i love her she is lovely but i never really had enough time for her.9because i was doing othe rhorses, and we couldnt afford to loan he rmyself) btu it is better for her anyhow! just had a touch of the green eyed monster when the girl was riding her around... never mind!!!!! just needed to tell someone.
 
I can understand how you feel, but like you say, you couldn't afford to loan her, so sadly there is not much you could have done!
You should just be pleased that said pony has someone who will carefor him as much as you did, as not many horses are that lucky!!

Horlicks (in my siggy) belongs to a RS, and it kills me seeing a novice rider on her in the school, kicking her sides and pulling at her mouth, but until the "Horlicks Fund" is full, and I can offer to buy her, I have to tell myself that I am lucky enough that I get to have her to my self at the weekends, when there is no one about to ride her!!
 
I can understand, when I was young my friends all got ponies on loan for a week or so, I always told myself not to get jealous as I was keeping my money to buy a horse one day, I did buy my horse, a beautiful horse, and then it was them who were jealous as they had spent all their money on loaning a different horse for a week and I had bought my own.

Just be happy you can ride and look after other horses, Your day will come, be patient and enjoy the horses
