Is it OK to feed Pumpkin to my horse?

I won't offer her the whole lot or anything LOL , just checking it's not poisonous to them

Mine love a pumpkin mash in their feed, it's quite common to feed it in Ausralia, and aparantly it can help alter a horses coat, ie chestnuts etc, but this is what I've heard.....mines black and didn't turn orange or anything lol

*disclaimer-I was in no way expecting my black mare to turn orange it was merely a joke
