My cob is shod on the front - backs have been off for about 12 weeks now. He can be a bit footy on stones but feet are looking so much better and he is coping well.
Question is - I have noticed that he sometimes leaves sweaty hoof prints on his rubbing matting in the stable when i sling him in for a bit before I ride. Is it even possible for horses to have 'sweaty' feet? He is a naturally 'hot' horse anyway.
I was wondering whether I should be worried or not!
