As title! And what sort of things would I get for the money?

I have to drive my mitsubishi pajero as an everyday car and the diesel costs are absolutely killing me! Plus....my work (nhs) are offering a VERY attractive and good value for money car lease scheme which means I could get a cheap small run about through that for every day driving and then would probably have a budget of about 6k max for a 3.5 ton. The main things im after in a box is that it could fit a 16.1hh in and that its horse safe! I only compete once a fortnight so something a bit older but sound and in decent working order would be ok.

All these 15-20k conversions are lovely but i think the mark up price on them is an awful lot when you consider most have already done 100k on the clock!

You definately can see ebay, horse deals, horse quest (although i find it hard to find thinks on there or local press- you may have to look for a while and take someone machanically minded on viewings. I'm going to see an H reg next week but I've searched for ages to find one with a new ish floor not too many miles etc.
I'm very lucky I have the use of a 2006 Chaigley which is beautiful to drive, but my boy deosn't like going backwards and the forward facing newish news are even more expensive!

You could definately get a lovely little box for that money, or less.

A friend of mine recently picked up a d reg forward facing vw lt35 for 2500. Yes its old, but it is how it has been looked after that counts, and it is in fab condition. The floor is sound and she had enough payload for her horse and all her stuff.
Good luck!

Yes you definitely can. We will be selling one in a couple of weeks. We're some distance from you but they are definitely available.
