As above really, I have a sheepskin numnah that has become matted and pretty much unusable due to numpty washing, I guess, on my part..... Is there any way it can be restored to its former glory or is it only fit to become a dog bed?

Any tips to prevent this happening again should I decide to buy a replacement would also be gratefully received.

If its really matted and grotty a good going over with a jet wash with a patio cleaner attachment will shift the mats! Its the attachment that makes the water come out in a mega high pressure whirly if that makes sense? Even an ordinary jet wash will make a difference.

I had a Christ Lammelle pad that had suffered and it was amazing the hair and mats that came out. A wash with conditioner and a wee slicker brush later and it was like new :D
