...buy a saddle cheaply?!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this but I've currently got a very forward cut jumping saddle (Lemetex Stylist) as my everyday saddle which is far from ideal for flatwork! My budget isn't huge

(£100 is fine, £150 at a push...) but I could really do with a more straight cut saddle. Is there anyone who knows where to get one?

I'd much prefer leather as I've never found a synthetic that I've liked and it would need to be between 16.5 and 17.5" as I'm not a child!

All ideas loved!

Thanks a lot.

You could try Ebay

You can buy some lovely second hand leather saddles on there, but make sure you read the size and description very well, and get the saddle fitter in to make sure it fits!

I have a saddle that I only want £150ono for, but is an 18" seat, though it does come up smaller...... Full leather, straightish cut GP style - pm me if you're interested....

Try your local equestrian college/university - I bought a few at £10 each (leather -needed re-stuffing etc) but I paid a saddler to do an overhaul and use one on my new tb everyday!
