Someone i know whats a "schoolmaster" all rounder.

for a 18 year old girl.
She is a good rider, but can be nervous,
She wouldnt be hacking alone, doing general riding and local competing.
Must be easy to handle and generally perfect in every way.

The thing is they want it under 8 years old so in a couple of years they can sell it on.

Firstly is in possible to get a genuine school master under 8 years old?

What would their budget have to be to find this perfect horse?

Any links to horses you think would fit the bill would be great!

Yes it is possible. She would be better looking at a cobby sort. I know plenty of 4-5 year old cob which have been sold to people similar to your friend. However, you do have to pay the price. You can get a cob under the age of 8 as a general allrounder for anywhere between £2000 - £4000 in this current market. Why do they want to sell it on?

I agree a cobbier sort would suit.
Not sure why they want to sell it on, she has had bad luck with previouse horse being unrideable and now retired.
Then a horse they had on tral turned out to have issues so a perfect horse as a life long friend you would think be what they wanted.
