For my farrier to turn up when he says he will?!

My farrier was in fact ment to be here at midday last sunday but never showed and it wasn't until wednesday that I manged to get in touch with his to ask where he was! *bear in mind I'm at uni during the week so can only arrange things for weekends*. So when he speaks to me he gives me some rubbish that he had booked me in for this weekend, not last week. Litle suspicious of his excuse as had he indeed booked me for this weekend instead of last, then why did he give me a different time? So he was ment to be here at 9 this morningm it's now 11.15. Soooo not happy! They are overdue to be shod and my pony has lost a shoe.

Its a farrier thing! My old one was terrible and at that time i didnt have stables so the ponies would be tied up to a cowboy rail and we would have to be waiting with them for hours and then 4hrs later he would ring and say he wasnt coming. This happened nearly everytime. My new one is great though!

That is terrible, let him know how unhappy about it you are and maybe he will make an effort next time.

Thanks, youve just reminded me to ring mine!!!

Changing farriers isn't an option unfortunatly! It's what I get for living miles from anywhere lol

Just so mad! Last sunday was the nicest day we've had in ages and my poor horses were left in all day waiting and again today.
