Hi, I have a 26 y.o ID/TB who has been on Prascend for 4 years which is thankfully controlling symptoms. He is now getting a little stiff. I want to use Danilon as a last resort as it tends to upset his stomach and was thinking of trying Devil's Claw as an alternative but don't know whether this would cause any problem with the Prascend. Does anyone here know of any reason not to trial?

I’ve had my old boy on devils claw for the last few months with no side effects, he’s on 2 and a half Prascend a day..however I ran out a month ago and he seems no different regarding stiffness..in fact he seems perkier, could be just the grass is coming through..?

My mare is on devil's claw, so I looked it up recently. In a study I found, devil's claw did not show to cause ulcers nor to have any contraindications with other drugs
