I have just spent the last hour looking for a nice simple grooms job either near to home or further afield just til sept (starting a PGCE) and there is NOTHING!

I really dont want to be stuck in an office or bar for the rest of summer

Horsey jobs are the best ways to fill your summer. Has anyone else found getting work difficult this year??
 
I personally haven't because my horse is kept on livery at a RS, so I just asked for a job there. I have noticed though they are now looking for more qualified people who can instruct as well as do some groom duties.
 
Yes.....I've been applying for jobs everyday for a month and am regestered with 3 agencies as well as sending my cv out to yards and got nothing not even an interview
 
Where are you? The place I have just come back from might still be looking for staff till sept. It's a trekking centre in North Wales.
 
I won't unless it's really worth it money wise. I went for a job in North Wales but couldn't justify what I'd take home after living costs when I've got an overdraft to pay off
