Is it the food, his age or something else?

So my gelding is rising 6, he been professional backed, however due to my limited time he’s not in much work. About 3 month ago found sarcoids and decided to change his food hes on Allen and page Muscle and Focus and thunderbrooks chaff. Sarc ex and Garlic. He looks so good in it and very healthy.

I’ve owned him since he was two and always be a placid boy however this last two month he’s spooky, impatient and unpredictable.

I’m at a Bit of a loss on what to do as he really isn’t nice to ride atm. Any advise appreciated

Is it the Spring grass coming through? I don't like Thunderbrooks as they have had quality issues. I know they were taken over though.
Is the A&P feed high energy? Does he need it if not in proper work?
I'd just go 100% forage and stop the Sarc EX and garlic. The former has no scientific basis and can make sarcoids worse and daily garlic isn't good for horses.
